      Replying to PMs

Please note that you can not reply to a personal message by replying to the notification email. Recently admins have received some email responses to personal messages. This is because some members have replied to the notification email. You can not reply to a personal message via the email. What replying to the notification email does is send a copy of the original message and the reply to the admin email address. It does not send your reply to the person who sent you the message. The email notification of the personal message does request "PLEASE DO NOT REPLY DIRECTLY TO THIS EMAIL!"

Where Is Prince Charming

Recommended Posts

What happened to my lovely prince?

He was here last night

Is he forever gone?

Out of my sight

Will he return?

Will he be back?

Sure he will after your attack

He was never prince charming

He has just fooled you

To get you to serve him

And to abuse you

You are so right. He wasn't prince charming. I looked up to him because of his strength and power and thought he would protect me from the world. I thought that power and strength was somehow a sign of a good man. Maybe, I got that from the fairy tales. It's amazing how much the things I read, watched, and heard from culture affected my life. I am concerned about the movies my granddaughter watches about prince charming. I don't want to ruin the fun and magic of her childhood, but I want her to realize what real men are like. I'm not saying they are all abusive, but they aren't prince charming.

I have realized I don't need a man to be my prince charming anyway. I just think it would be nice to have one that would be a decent person.

I agree that society gives us expectations that set us up for abuse, hoping.

There is no Prince Charming. That's what I found out. Getting married at 22 and now 58, I am much older and wiser than I could ever be.

I don't think Prince Charming actually exist.  With that being said, I do believe there are some really great people out there, they are just hard to find.  So many poisonous toads running around, it is sometimes hard to spot the one we want to kiss and should be kissing.
